2000 and Beyond

The new Millennium began with terrorism on a grand scale
and 9/11 has been used as a rally cry
for the "war on terrorism" ever since.
Torture is now accepted as "enhanced interrogation"
The USA spends more on military spending than the
next 8 countries combined
.
Robotics is becoming the tool of choice for war,
another way of sanitizing the despicable.

The gap between the rich and the poor has grown to levels
greater than ever before in our modern history.
Basic human rights are in jeopardy.
Worldwide the lines between law enforcement and
military are being blurred, especially in the U.S.

The environment moves towards dangerous conditions,
disproportionately affecting the poor.

The world is prime for change, but which way will it go?

Musicians and songwriters have no lack of topics to draw from.
